Posterino 6.0

Released on September 15, 2025

With macOS 26 Apple introduces Liquid Glass—a visual language that blends translucency, depth, and focus across all its platforms. Posterino 6.0 embraces this design shift head-on. With Liquid Glass, controls gracefully step into the background, giving your creations more breathing room while keeping tools at hand when you need them. The result: a lighter, more refined Posterino that lets your art shine through.

A Fresher Look & Feel

  • Document window redesign: Toolbars, sidebars, and split views now adapt to Liquid Glass, creating a softer, more immersive workspace.
  • Canvas overlays: Zoom controls and layout actions like Scale Up and Scale Down are now integrated directly into the canvas, appearing only when relevant (e.g. Square-Grid layouts).
  • Inline Inspector polish: Fully re-styled for macOS 26 with Liquid Glass, including improvements for better readability on light and dark backgrounds.
  • Template picker refresh: The picker now shines in Liquid Glass and presents resolution warnings more clearly.

Streamlined Workflow

  • Cleaner main menu: Updated to align with Apple’s latest Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Smarter paper handling: Posterino now checks printer paper vs. document size when exporting, helping you avoid surprises before hitting “Print.”
  • Focused media browser: After dropping a folder of images, the media browser now relinquishes focus automatically so you can continue working without interruptions.

Fine-Tuning & Fixes

  • The selection and manipulation of graphic objects has been refined: the highlight now appears lighter, the frame handles are more elegant, and handles are shown only when an object is selected rather than when hovering over it.
  • Manual layout improvements: Image drops now land where you expect them—close to the mouse pointer or properly at the origin if another image is already placed.
  • Keyboard shortcuts: Layout switching no longer conflicts with system screenshot commands.
